Change in U.S. Distribution of Save Edge Products
As of January 1, 2026, all sales and distribution of Save Edge products in the United States will be handled exclusively by Farrier Product Distribution (FPD).
This transition allows Save Edge to focus fully on manufacturing, helping reduce lead times and backorders as demand continues to grow. We appreciate your patience during this transition and look forward to continued collaboration through FPD.
All international orders will continue to be fulfilled by our central warehouse in the Netherlands. Contact your Royal Kerckhaert account manager for more information.

Time for a Make Over
Later this year you will see new packaging appear on your orders of rasps. We have redesigned them all to make them recognizable and easier to handle. All styles will be color codes. Barcodes are added per piece, box and carton. And we will have uniform quantities per box.
A great step forward that increases the efficiency from production and warehousing to end-user sales.
You will all receive an information package as soon as the first will start shipping, we expect sending out the first by the end of this summer.

New Promotional Items for Dealers
In the coming months you will be receiving a set of promotional items for your stores. The set contains a hanger to show where the Save Edge rasps are in your store. And a floor sticker to show the farrier how to get there.
A great combination to have the industry’s favorite rasps stand out from the rest and point them out to the farriers.
They are easy to install and easy to remove.
The set will be added to your orders automatically before shipping from us. We expect to start shipping them halfway through May.
We have limited stock of these; first come, first serve.

New Ownership Updates
At the end of 2023 we informed everyone with the news of Save Edge being acquired by the Royal Kerckhaert Horseshoe Factory. We want to thank you, our loyal dealers, for working with us to make this transition possible.
We also need to give a shout out to our great staff. The team in Xenia has been working extremely hard over the past months and we are very proud of them!
Any change is difficult, but they have handled it with full confidence and incredible motivation.
There has been changes to the building, changes to the way of working, changes to the name on the paycheck and occasional Dutch guys walking around.
The team in Xenia has handled the changes very well!
We are very proud to have them as part of our crew and plan to continue for many years in the lovely city of Xenia.

New shipping conditions and payment options for USA and CAN dealers
In the beginning of this year, we promised that our prices would be frozen for 2024. We are keeping that promise and have heard many of you appreciate this very much!
The new ownership has brought us new insights into the possibilities to improve our production and lets us take control over costs in these unstable times.
No price changes in 2024!
Something we cannot control is shipping costs. Unfortunately, we are forced to increase the minimum order value for free shipping.
Starting May 1st, the minimum order value for free shipping will be $1200
We hope this will encourage you all to place larger, less frequent orders.
New to Save Edge is that we are now accepting ACH payments. If you prefer ACH over checks, please reach out to accounting@saveedge.com or give Save Edge a call and they will provide you with all the necessary details.
